Introductory Research Package

This six hour project is designed for clients who want to get to know us before delving into a more in-depth project. A professional genealogist will research your ancestor(s) born between 1840 and 1930 in the U.S.

A few things you'll want to know:
|
|
To qualify for this project, you must be a first-time client desiring research on ancestors born between 1840 and 1930 in the U.S. The introductory project is not appropriate for those wanting documentation of Native American heritage, in-depth military research, research on pre-1870 African American ancestry, or help with certain difficult problems. For such needs, you may wish to learn about our standard research project or contact us for a free consultation.
Half payment is made at the beginning of your order and your credit card will be charged for the other half upon completion of the project. Your binder will be sent to you once full payment has been made. Introductory projects are usually completed within 4 weeks.
There will be some additional costs due at the end of the project, in addition to the remaining half payment due. These include copies ($.10 per page), binder costs ($5), and shipping ($8). These costs generally do not exceed $20 and will not exceed $50 without your permission.
Payments by check require the full research amount ($400) to be paid up front. Payment on additional expenses will also need to be made when the project is completed and before your binder can be mailed.
